You are to view and familiarise yourself with all the knots and lashings needed in NPCC. 

To learn:

  • Ropes
  • All Knots and Lashings
  • Tent Pitching
  • Erecting a flagstaff

You may also use the interactive Flash app to better understand your knots and lashings.

To access the Flash app:
  1. Download it from the link here. 
  2. Unzip the entire file. 
  3. Click on the file labelled "npcc.exe".
However, knots and lashings cannot be learnt just through watching alone. 

Try them yourself, and send pictures of your knots and lashings to your Cadet Leaders, Cadet Inspectors, and Teacher-Officers to check that you have tied them correctly!
