Community Safety & Security Programme (CSSP)

The Community Safety & Security Programme for Sec 2 Cadets is to help cadets understand that to be socially conscious is to take ownership of educating the school community on safety and security as well as to assist in enforcing those values and beliefs through actions.

To qualify for the CSSP Badge

To qualify for the CSSP badge:
  1. Amongst your unit's Sec 2 cadets, identify areas of concern or interest in your school, such as theft, bullying, vandalism, alcohol/drug abuse by youth, smoking by youth, anti-terrorism, scamming, etc. You may ask your school's Discipline Committee or prefects to better understand your school's areas of concern.
  2. All Sec 2 cadets will be planning out activities such as using posters, creating booths, making presentations, or performing skits to actively spread awareness of anti-crime messages.  Please craft your plan on Annex A CSSP-VIA below.
  3. Carry out the project in your school.
  4. Try to get a good beneficiary feedback score (>15/20)!
  5. Complete the Reflection in the document below as a group. (To maximise your learning, it is suggested that all Sec 2 cadets in your unit do a reflection before discussing and crafting the combined reflection.)
