Anti Substance Abuse (SANA)

Introduction

The Anti Substance Abuse Programme is conducted in partnership with the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA).

Through this programme, you would gain a heightened awareness to the current threats of substance abuse and understand the importance of the drug prevention in Singapore. 

By the end of this programme, you would also become advocates for a drug free society by doing an advocacy project to spread awareness and prevent fellow Singaporeans from becoming victims of drug & substance abuse.

Instruction to cadet

SANA HQ had rolled out a new Learning Management System called SANA Academy in 2025, to facilitate cadets’ e-learning and badgework attainment. The general requirements of the SANA Badgework remain unchanged. 

To attain the NPCC SANA Badge, cadets need to complete the following:-

Bronze Tier – no badge will be awarded at this tier
1. cadets have to create an account for SANA Academy (https://sanaacademy.odoo.com)

2. cadets have to sign-up for the Bronze Badge scheme by joining the course  new!
3. cadets have to complete the e-learning materials prescribed by SANA HQ
4. cadets have to take & pass the Bronze Badge Certification in SANA Academy 

Silver Tier – cadets who complete & pass this tier can be awarded the NPCC SANA Badge
1. cadets must have completed & passed the Bronze Tier
2. cadets have to sign-up for the Silver Badge scheme by joining the course  new!
3. cadets have to complete the e-learning materials prescribed by SANA HQ
4. cadets must work on an advocacy project in groups of not more than 5 cadets, led by an appointed Team Leader  (only the group size requirement is new)
5. only the Team Leader needs to upload the following documents into a folder on a selected file-sharing platform, set the folder permission to accessible by anyone with the link and share the link via SANA Academy:  new!
6. cadets will be able to check the outcome of their Silver Tier in 1 month’s time after submission  new!
